MORE THAN BASKETBALL
Afterschool Hoops Zimbabwe is spearheaded by David Mlambo, a Zimbabwean basketball lover now living and working in Cape Town.
Basketball played an important role in David's life. Growing up, the court gave him somewhere positive to be, with people to look up to and something meaningful to pursue.
After losing several childhood friends to drugs, David understood how important those hours on the court had been for his own life.
Now he wants to create that same opportunity for the next generation.
Through Afterschool Hoops Zimbabwe, David helps young people access basketball, positive mentorship and faith-centred community, one Bible, one ball and one shoe at a time.
With this simple website, you can assist David's quest by either pledging an item or sending a donation of your choice.
